Palinka festival

this past saturday I attended the Palinka festival. met up w/ my colleague from the mba program and we kept drinking palinka, mainly sour cherry flavor along w/ some peach. it was a good night. ended it by going to a dance club called cha cha cha. my buddy likes going there b/c there's ton's of girls and foreigners and good music (drum and bass, electronica, etc). overall a good night. didn't get too drunk b/c we were drinking palinka w/ water....if it were beer i wouldn't be able to remember. it was well deserved. had a busy week at work and school. i'll need more nights like that in about 3 wks (finals coming up).

will post up pics when i'm not lazy. oh yeah, it's hot in here! today it was around mid 80's...and our car has no A/C....ugh!

i was invited to hang out w/ my coworkers this past wednesday. it was for a going away party for one of the CEO's...young guy, originally from Seattle. got to meet more ppl and talk to them. interesting bunch...majority of them are chemists. did the usual banter, "why are you here? why did you choose hungary?, etc..." good night. hopefully it won't be the last.
